Asthma not improving

hello Im 27 years old Iv suffered with allergies and asthma since i was 14 years old. Iv been On plenty of different meds like subutimol and ventalin for emergancies, and have taken Plumicort, the orange puffer don't remmebr the name Singular, and im now on Advair to control everyday problems breathing. I found that all of these medications work for awhile for me then once Im on them for a month or two they stop working sometimes only a few weeks, and they stop working. I also have panic attacks and was told that might be why they seem to not work but I don't know if its unconsious or if there really is nothing that can help me. I also was percrbed to take two 24 hour antihistamines a day becuase I sometimes get spontanius hives, and Im allergic to everything outside trees grass, mold ,dust, and cats  have almost killed  me in the past . The antihistamines seems to take away allergics reaction but make my breathing worse. Does anyone out there know of a medication that helps or if they have had similar problems and have figured it out. Any help apreciated. : (

It appears that your allergies are significant and could be associated with asthma.  However the first thing should be for your doctor(s) to establish that you either do or do not have asthma.  Not all wheezing is caused by asthma.  The panic attacks could certainly mimic asthma as could a condition called vocal cord dysfunction (VCD); panic attacks and VCD often occur together.  Your doctor may be familiar with VCD, but if not you should see a lung specialist also called a pulmonologist.

Given your many allergies, you may be a candidate for desensitization.  In the past that was done with "allergy shots".  In recent times, sublingual desensitization, with drops under the tongue, has been shown to be safe and effective.
