Average resting heart rate for someone with asthma?

Just curious what the average resting heart rate should be for someone with asthma? As someone who has had it all her life and needed a hole in her heart sewn up when only a few days old, I am often concerned about how healthy my heart is. I exercise very regularly, eat well and my cholesterol is good. But my resting heart rate seems to be on the lower end of the scale and I'm not sure if this is because I need to do more cardio or because my heart is just a little different because of asthma. Any tips on this would be appreciated :)

If you are fit I believe your heart rate can be as long as 50-60 with being normal.  Also take into account your blood pressure, if it's high and your heart rate is low then something might be going on same with if your pressure is very low.

Maybe find a sports trainer and ask them, they probably have done courses on things like that.
