Breathing difficulty

I have had breathing difficulty for about 10 months.  I have had xrays, ct scans, blood tests, spirometery test and everything is normal except for exercise spirometery test.  This test showed that my breathing improved after exercise.  The forced expiratory rate was higher during and after exercise.  I have this breathing problem constantly and no asthma medications help.  Is it possible that a vascular problem could be causing this?

When do you have problems with breathing...is it worse during exertion or do you have it all of the time? It definitely sounds like it isn't the lungs...the FEV1 usually does increase  with exercise from what I remember (don't quote me). Did they happen to check your oxygenation during exercise (O2 sat or pulse oximetry)..was it normal if they did? Some people with cardiac problems will have normal lung function tests but have problems with saturation or oxygenation. If you have a low O2 sat especially during exercise, then I would ask the doc to look into a cardiac problem. What does your doc think about this? I hope that you find answers soon..Sunny

I have had breathing difficulties and heaviness in my chest for the past 9 months as well.  Cardiology tests (stress, angiogram, x-rays) showed no signs of heart or coronary artery problems.  Also went through several lung tests w/ pulmoniary dr. and nothing showed up.  Drs are all puzzled.  Please let me know if you find out anything.  Tried Advair & Albuterol with no success.

Do this breathing everyday and after 2 weeks I will suggest another more powerful technique(kapalbhati). This will help your your body improve the breathing mechanism.
Keep us posted of progress, so others may benefit as well.

then -Deep Breath-in through right nostril keeping left nostril closed
