Breathing issues

Morning,
new to this forum. I have babesia a protaozoan infection. One of the symptoms is air hunger etc. I have an inhaler but doesn't seem to be working.

I feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest and back and can't rest due to that.

Also, took lariam which is for babesia so not sure if that's causing the breathing problems.

I can't take steroids because it suprresses my immune system due to the lyme/babesia.

Any suggestions would be great. Janice
