Yes, it is absolutely possible to outgrow asthma.  Unfortunately, it's also possible for asthma to worsen over time.  Luckily, there are many good treatments available.

I had asthma as a kid, and outgrew it when I turned 13.  Unfortunately, that only lasted for a couple of years.  By the time I was 16, it was as bad as it ever had been.  So, some people do seem to outgrow asthma.

But I also learned that asthma can never be cured.  If you have ever had asthma, that means that you're capable of having an attack at any point in your life, even if it doesn't seem like it's around anymore.
