Claritin D-12 or Tylenol Sinus Congestion and Pain

Right now I have some phlegm in my chest I need to bring up. I have a couple Claritin D-12 around my house which have pseudoephedrine/loratadine and I have some Tylenol Sinus Congestion and Pain Severe pills which have guifenesin and phenylephrine. Which would be the best choice at this moment?

I would use a hot steam shower or boiling water in a dish and breathe in the steam.  You can also try vicks vapor rub or eculapytos oil in the water as well.

The problem with both of the medications is that they dry out the mucus and won't necessarily allow you to cough it up easily.
