Constant Wheezing

Over the past week i have noticed i am wheezing a lot more than i have done in the past (everyday, i have to use my inhaler until it wears off then use it again otherwise i will keep wheezing), i find that i usually wheeze when im sitting down.. If i am active i do not notice nor wheeze as much. I have also started waking up in the morning with severe wheezing (relieved by a Ventolin inhaler) and coughing. What could be causing the problem? Also does using the inhaler too much cause migraine like headache symptoms? Thankyou.

UPDATE.

I am currently on medication for acid reflux (have been for 10 months) and have recently felt burning in my throat again due to the acid could this be causing my muscles to contract thus making me wheeze constantly?

(I am seeing a GP in 2 days)

Hi and welcome to our community!

I found this great info on side effects from our drug database

http://www.medhelp.org/drugs/Ventolin/show/812

It's side effects of Ventolin/Albuterol which do show headache.

Hope you feel better and keep us posted ....
