Difficulty Breathing

I am a healthy 14 year old and am having breathing difficulty. I have had a run-in with asthma a couple of years back but soon passed, now i'm starting to think i have it again.

I could breathe normally for most of my life, but about a week ago i started to take really deep breaths but i could get enough air out of the breath. So i countinued to take deep breaths regardless of recieving slightly less air than normal. I have tried using an inhaler but dosen't help.

Most of the day it dosent occur, but only occurs when i think about this. Can anyone help me or tell em what to do?

You need to have your mom or dad take you to a doctor, who will refer you to an asthma clinic.  They generally have a respiratory specialist at these clinics who really knows what they are doing. Make sure your inhaler says "albuterol sulfate". There are several inhalers available. At your age asthma can come on for a season, go away, and never come back. On the other hand, any asthmatic attack can worsen and you MUST keep an emergency inhaler handy. You might want to suggest to your doctor to try foradil aerosolizer (formoterol fumarate inhalation powder). The down side is it's very expensive, but your health care plan may cover it. The insert says it is not to be used for emergencies, but it works pretty quick, and is as good, in my opinion, as an albuterol inhaler. It is very long lasting. It comes in 12 mcg packages.
