Last christmas I had a chest infection and really struggled with my breathing for a couple of months after, having a really tight chest and breathing being quite erratic, I went to the doctor and he just said there's something going around, now when I laugh, do any kind of exercise I don't do regulary, lay on my back or sometimes just out of the blue I struggle to get my breath and am really weezey, my fiancé keeps telling me to go to the doctors but he seems pretty useless, was wondering if anyone could help please.
You should go to your doctor and demand a peak flow test with albuterol challenge. This would show any swelling or blockage in the lungs and the albuterol would show major improvement in peak flow if there is asthma.
If you don't like the way your doctor handles problems, find another doctor or go to a walk-in clinic.
