Having a problem with Seretide Diskus 50mcg/100mcg

Ive been using Seretide Diskus 50mcg/100mcg for about 5mos. and I'm having experiencing side effects of it like upper respiratory upper respiratory tract infections, throat irritation, ear, nose, and throat infections, ear signs and symptoms, sinusitis, sore throat, bronchitis, coughing, muscle cramps or muscle spasms,pink eye, sleeping problems, increased sweating. And also i got allergies. what should i do? please help. thanks

You could try using the puff inhalers. As these are steroid inhalers, after each inhalation rinse and gargle your mouth and throat with warm salt water or with betadine mouth washes. This will help prevent local infections. The steroid content is very low in an inhaler and only acts locally and is unlikely to cause systemic effects. However, if you continue to have breathing problems, consult your doctor for a change in medications.
