Hoarse voice

My sister has  a hoarse voice for a year with green mucus, diagnosed with astma,using inhaler and mucolytic, untilnow she has still a hoarse voice, sometimes she has sorethroat. What medicines for her hoarse voice.

Hello, not a doctor here, but I do have some thoughts.

Generally you treat the cause of the hoarse voice - severe cough, acid reflux, infection...

It sounds like another visit to the doctor is in order.  If she is still coughing up green mucus, it is likely that she still has an infection going on.  If the doctor doesn't believe that, have him/her run a CBC to make sure he is correct.  

Also, some asthma inhalers can cause hoarseness.  Is she using a dry powder version?  The dry powder particles settle on the vocal folds causing irritation and hoarseness.  If she asks to be switched to an Hfa version and uses a spacer with it, she should see some improvement.  Spacers should be used with all Hfa medications as they allow for the optimum amount of medication to actually reach the lungs instead of landing in the mouth or back of the throat.
