I wanna know why do i feel I have something in my throat

I have asthma. My question is I have trouble breathing taking a deep breath at night a shake myself to make sure im alive feels like I cannot breath and also when I eat swallow like I have a enlarged gland in my throat stops me from breathing? please tell me what that sounds like?

I have asthma too. I take Advair discuss for that. I use it as a maitenance I usually cough and can't get my breath when I lie down at night. This usually happens when I don't take my pump or I get a cold and my asthma flares up. Hope this helps you.
