Mixing Prozac and codeine

Hello,
I have been using Prozac for almost 5 months now . I have an asthma and when the seasons change I get ill and have allergies and terrible coughs that most of the time only using codeine helps me to get better .
Does anyone know if it's okay to use codeine while using Prozac . I heard that the effects of the codeine while using Prozac might be little . But can it actually damage my body in the short term ?
If I need to take codeine then I usually use only for two days and then I get much better . I know it's not good to use codeine anyway , but sometimes it's the only thing that can help me .
So if anybody knows if it's alright to use Codeine while using Prozac , please let me know . :)

Talk to your pharmacist about it he will know best, your body turn codiene into morphine and the prozac could interact with it and make the codine not as strong as you need it.
