Re-current infections in 17month daughter

17mn daughter w/recurrent respiratory infect since 2 1/2 mns and worsening after she had rotavirus(hospitalized for 3days)at 9 mnths.On asthma meds but does not prevent or better infects. Had 10 ear infec and 2 after tubes in ears and adenectomy. Sick 60-80% of each month. She is life-threatening allergic to pcn and cephsporns. Since Apr 28,'07,She had mouth sores 4x and doc says from daycare which no child has. 2 ear infecs(one took 2 antibiotics)and a sinus infect which she is on her 3rd Rx. She had 8 days of fever >101 w/ no known cause. Runs a fever and blood red in face when she is outside for >5 mins. She has green- yellow areas on her thighs; Face this past weekend swelled and had the green-yellow color. Blood work done(CBC,IgA,M,E,G sclasses)and the only thing that came back neg was HIB anitbodies, but is due for her final shot of HIB. We saw an astma, allergy immune doc and he did the 1st round of allergy testing on her back and all neg and will have testing on her arms next week (are sure to be neg since she has very low IgE). Her doc tells me it's viruses but this time he was wrong since nasal smear done despite blood test neg for bacteria and showed bacteria, I wonder how many other times it was bacteria. What other things should she be tested for immune or other. I know IVIG therapy is only for those tested pos for immune defic, but I think she has a defic somewhere and would benefit from IVIG. all help would be greatly appreciated. Hou, tx
