Salmeterol + Fluticasone propionate

by maeve96, Mar 24, 2009 05:58AM
What is Salmeterol + Fluticasone propionate? My Doctor prescribed me this inhaler and he said its for anti asthma. What's the difference of this inhaler to Salbutamol? Does this have higher dosage or something?

The fluticasone is a corticosteriod that helps with the inflammation in the lungs.  The salmeterol is a long acting bronchodilator.

I've used advair for a couple of months now, defintely helps :)
