Severe Throat Tickle/Asthma/Bronchitis

After moving to the beach in San Diego County over two years ago I have developed Asthma and everytime I get a cold it turns into Bronchitis. 2 months after moving here in Dec 2006 I caught a cold and after 3 days it turned into Bronchitis. I was diagnosed with Asthma in February 2008 and in Sept 2008 I caught a cold and turned into such severe bronchitis I almost had to be hospitalized. I had intended to further research this Asthma by going to an allergist and/or a lung doctor. Long story short I never pursued those while I was employed and had health insurance.....I was recently laid off and have lost my health insurance. Anyway, the reason I am asking is that I am sick again this time with a sinus infection ( I have a long history of these.....childhood hayfever, etc). Yesterday I started feeling better but in the afternoon I started getting a tickle in my throat and started coughing. The tickle is getting to so severe I just want to reach down my throat and scratch it. When I was first diagnosed by my primary care doctor with Asthma this severe throat tickle was my primary symtom. My best releif for the throat tickle is to take the deepest breath possible and cough really hard to try and releive the tickle. My chest is starting to sound weezey and I am afraid it's turning into bronchitis again. I am currently taking Advair diskus 500/50 (originally started on 100, then 250 because of continued shortness of breath, coughing, and/or wheezing) 2x daily, albuterol rescue inhaler, as needed and a nebulizer, when needed. For the sinus infection I went a community clinic and was prescribed Antibiotics (Zithromax 250mg for 5 days) and Guaifenesin cough syrup. Today will be day three on these meds. Can you offer any advice? I would really appreciate it. Thank you!
