Trouble breathing

So when I was just a fetus in my mothers womb, my mother had bad drinkin and smoking problems during the pregnancy. At first the doctors thought it was just Athsma, but as I got older my breathing problems started to go away. Now I am 15 and recently I have been having trouble breathing. Not just letting the wind knocked out of me, but legit trouble. Right now, as I am typing this, I am struggling to catch my breath. I can also feel my heartbeat in my entire body, and I'm not sure if that's because of the lack of oxygen or what. I'm debating asking my dad to take me to the ICU or ER. My lungs are hurting pretty bad and I just don't know what to do....

Hope you are feeling better .... There are many things that can cause troubling breathing and you need a complete work up to figure out what is going on,  you should not feel like that.

Let us know if you have any questions about what the doctors told you..

Hello there,

Just read your comments. This sounds concerning. I would ask your dad to take you to the ER. Better safe than sorry as the saying goes. We have a saying in our house. If in doubt , check it out. If you are so uncomfortable and are having trouble breathing, tell your dad now.  I wish you well. Eve
