I used to be on asmanex 220 twice a day. After a few months it started giving me heart palpatations but then taking it once a day all that stopped. I am now switching back to asmanex but im going to try 110 twice a day. Depending on how thigns go i might move back up to 220 once a day. I have to honestly say that Asmanex worked really really well for me. I have mild to moderate asthma. I have had asthma for nine years. For seven years I was on Pulmicort 200 twice a day until the company changed their product to flexhailer.  The flexhailer just didnt work like the turbuhalor. Then thats when I switched over to asmanex 220 and then when the heart palpatatioins happend i ended up stopping it and goign to flovent diskus 250 twice a day. That helped but wasnt like the asmanex. So, now im going back to asmanex and im on day 3 without any steroids and my asthma is starting to get annoying. I am also on singulair 10mg.

The Mayo Clinic website has great information about this and other medicines:

Asmanex (mometasone) typically does not cause that symptom, but speak with your doctor about it.
