croup??

my nearly 3 year old daughter gets somewhat frequent croup, and for the past 18 months it is most frequently during the summer (5 of 6 episodes between may and august).  She had adenoids (adenoids) removed in may, tonsils are small and never been infected.  She just got another episode of croup, and she has not been ill.  She was also hysterical, could barely breathe, kicking and fighting.  Is this indeed croup??

Hi, sometimes asthma is mis DX'd as croup at a young age.  But only your Dr can really tell.  My daughter had severe croup as you describe for yrs and finally they realized it was stridor/asthma!
