does your meds cause rapid heart rate?

Does anyone else have this problem. we have to monitor our 3 yr old. his heart rate at rest will be 120- 150.

Yes, they do. It increases ones HR.

Yes, some Asthmamedications cause rapid heart beat and especially if he/she is having side effects, allergic reaction or overused (exp. inhaler).  It's something you should consult with your child's pediatrician to make sure he/she is not having an allergic reaction to it or if the dose might be too high.
