heart palps with allergies

Just wonder if anyone that has allergy or asthma has heart palps with it or maybe pressure.  Every year I get this and it drives me crazy.  I was diagnosed a few years with "seasonal restricted airway passage"  I get scared everytime it happens.

If heart palps are related to inflammatory like paderla anitha said then it makes complete sense for them to occur with inflammation (and makes sense when I seem to get them too).  Allergies cause your immune system to go haywire and does greatly increase the overall inflammatory in your body (just think of stuffy nose and sinuses), this inflammatory also then can cause the heart palpations to start.  Then of course you become anxious over them (I know the feeling) which causes them to lengthen or take a well going way.  This starts a lovely cycle ....

The best way to get them to go away I find is try not to panic and just relax and breathe slow deep breathes when they start.  If you are still worried about them, talk with your doctor and do some basic tests on your circulatory system and they should help put you at ease that there is nothing wrong physically with your heart.  Have a great day!

I have been to the heart doctor and they said I have PAC's and they are harmless but I seem to get them more when I am having allergies.

I don't use a nasal spray but just can't figure it out.  I do know that it really gives me anxiety when I am having them.

Thank you,

Hi, when there is increased inflammation, it can cause increased pulse rate and palpitations. Cardiac rhythm disorders can cause palpitations. Sinus tachycardia can also occur with anemia, anxiety, hyperthyroidism, fever and dehydration. It may not be related to a cardiac disorder.

Anxiety, fear or stress can cause palpitations. If it persists, you should consult your primary care physician for therapy. He will examine you and may ask for blood tests and an EKG. Regards.
