heartbeat

i m a man of 19. and the rate of heart beat is faster since 2 months and it feels as if the heart pump the blood so hugely as it can be noticed while walking also.some time it feels heart burn and i used to drink a lot of water. when i consult with the doctor then he said it is due to acidity and he avoid me to eat fat food . he also gave me the medicine named pantoprazole.40mg  tablet andalzolam.25mg. so is he right or what should i do to control the fast heatbeat . is it danger.

Fast heartrates can also be due to anixety or too intense of a workout.  I'm not sure about the heart burn relationship, the GERD community may be a good place to ask about this as well.  

If you are under more stress right now it could just be anxiety or panic disorders (I get them around midterm and final times), try to take deep breathes and relax.  

Make sure you are eating healthy, drink enough water, excerise daily, sleep well and don't drink or do drugs.  Basically be healthy and everything should calm down in regards to the anixety.
