help me to get out of bad cold and cough

Hi,
I am having cold since 2 years or so and only when I take medications which is suggesting by Doctor who is specialist in respiratory related,I am getting relief ..But again if I stop taking the medications,continous cough is coming up wich makes my stomach to pain a lot ...and also cold is coming out from my mouth frquently ..

Could somone please help me get rid of this bad cold,donot wanted to continue taking medicens for a long time .

Thanks for ur posts.

I have been prescribe for the medicnes Tab Airway L,Cap Esamino,Nezaflo Nasal Spray,Seroflow Autohaler 250 and (Tab Ivepred 4mg for 5days on every month) ..

Also was told by doctor that mine is not asthma or sinus or something else...but only have so much of cold ..if I dont continue taking medications,it will surely lead to serious things :( ...but If I continue taking medicines,I feel much better and dont get oigh any more ...

But if I stop for two or three days ..cough is strated coming up ..so doctor is saying to me that continue taking tablets and lets see ..But I wanted to know wehther these tablets would cause any side effects ..and wnated to know why I dont get permanent cure for this :(..

Try amoxicillan for about 14 days, if you need more help I suggust you talk to your doctor about prednisolone. Different medications do behave differently.

What medications are you taking?  There are numerous disorders that cannot be cured and may need long term medications.

If the problem lasted over 2 years, it is not a cold and probably something else going on.  

If you have asthma, you must take long -term controller medication to control the symptoms, anytime you stop the medications it will come back and cause you problems.

There are some supplements that can help you lower the amount of medication needed but first we need to know the medications you are prescribed.
