by amz905, Dec 29, 2007 05:38AM
hi, i suffered from asthma a few years ago but i wore off, but i recently had an oporation and had to put under anesthetic, since this the asthma kicked in, i was coughing all the time, short of breath and wheezing. then it turnt into bronchitus (bronchitis) and laringutus. the coughing has started again with stuff coming up. during this time i have had very bad back ache around the chest area. i also keep getting colds. is it just asthma or could it be something else?
thank you

It sounds like you could very well have another infection on top of your asthma issues. Have you seen a doctor recently? It would be a very good idea to do so so that you can get the proper treatment which might include antibiotics, a change in your asthma meds etc...Sunny
