sore throat

i have sore throat for last 4-5days , after using antiallergics and cough supressants  till the problem persists.pl guide which type of antibiotics are useful treating sore throat

It depends on what causes the sore thoart if antibiotics will even help at all or make things worse.  

Colds can take up to 10 days to recover from so you still have some healing time.  However, there are more serious throat infections like strep that do need antiobiotics for.  

A doctor's visit will allow them to determine the cause and what to try.  The only way to know for sure what the best antiobiotic would be, is to grow a culture of the bacteria and test different antiobiotics on them.  This is unrealistic because by the time that is done, you would either be very sick or cleared the infection yourself.
