My cardio doctor said my heart was healthy but I'm confused . On my report it said "hyper mobile interatrial septum " and I asked him if that ment I had interatrial septum aneurysm and he said no I don't . He said mine is just a little thinner than usual and it makes it more mobile . I asked if I should worry or if it's dangerous and he said no. Is the interatrial septum supposed to be mobile to some degree? And some people's are a little more mobile than usual ? Please respond somebody because my anxiety is going insane right now and I really need somebody to talk to.
Do you have symptoms? The finding can cause symptoms but if you don't have any and a shunt ( pfo, asd) is ruled out than it is safe.
