Aspbergers and psychosis

My 17 year old granddaughter has aspbergers and now they are saying she has an unknown psychosis maybe
schizophrenia. We have had no one to talk to us about were to take her for any kind of therapy or she has had no brain scans they put her into a psych ward and shove anti psychotics at her and when she is calm they release her. My daughter and I are at our wits end. Please can you tell us were there is a competent psychiatrist, or doctor of any kind that is familiar with aspbergers and mental illness?
