Asperger's Syndrome Diagnosis

Hi, I posted over a year ago with concerns about my now 9year old son. He received a diagnosis of Asperger's this morning and we are now looking at doing everything we can to support him.

Thanks to all who offered us support on this forum, it helped me to realise that I was not alone or imagining his condition. If you are waiting for a diagnosis hang in there and talk about it. This forum is great.

Best of luck! If there are ever any concerns, we'll always recommend that a child be assessed. There's no downside to having it done and it sets you on the path for seeking out services that can be extremely beneficial for your child. Thanks so much for the update and keep us posted on how things are going! Stories from parents going through what you are can be a great help to other parents going through the same thing.
