Aspergers

He has told me stories of his childhood and there are some that seem very clear to me that he does have Aspergers.  He at least should have been evaluated.  He liked being alone.  In one class he said that he was even seated in the classroom, but secluded from the rest of the class (by choice)  and would get upset when the teacher would place a child with him for whatever reason. He said that he would play alone in a classroom full of children.
Then coming from 5th grade entering 6th grade he says that the kids made fun of him because he still acted like a child. In high school he said he didn't have any friends he'd rather hang out with his cousins.
He never went out.  He told me a story that his parents wanted him to go to the prom, but he refused unless he could take a limosine.  They said yes, if he would take a date.  So his mother's best friend asked her daughter and they went. That seemed odd to me. He has the same routine everyday.  EXACTLY, down to the egg and bacon sandwich for breakfast.  He buys everything in bulk.  He has trouble telling me what the pastor's sermon was about or even the book he is reading.  He can't recognize actors from show to show even when they haven't changed their appearance.
