Could this be Asperger's?

I have a 15 year old daughter who has had social difficulties her entire life. The only friends that she has ever had have been kids who took the initiative to make friends with her.  Right now she has no friends at all. She does not know what to say to other kids; her mind literally blanks out. Every year I get the call from school that my daughter is sitting by herself at lunch, etc.  My daughter takes figures of speech and expressions literally.  For example,  if she mentions that a certain music group is better than another and someone replies,"You're crazy.  So in so is way better"   then my daughter will get very angry because you called her crazy. If she needs reassurance about something, she will ask the same question over and over and over until she gets the answer she wants,  in the wording that she wants it.  She also has always had gross and fine motor difficulties her entire life (didn't walk until 15 months, struggled in classes such as dance, tumbling,  struggled with using utensils, pencils, scissors,  toe walking until 2nd grade). She also worries alot about illness and food poisoning.

Could this be Asperger's?  I know something is up but I am not sure what it is!  I love her and want to help.
