I have a friend who's twenty-seven month old son was just diagnosed with a developmental disorder. He is physically on level but mentally his level is that of an sixteen month old and verbally his level is of an eleven month old. His upper lip is fused to his gums and has chronic nose bleeds. She did not use drugs when she was pregnant and received the best prenatal care. I was wondering about the fathers drug use during conception after Devon was born it came out that his father was a devout crack-cocaine user. I wanted to know if the fathers drug use could be the cause of this child's development problems and if there were any links discovered or studies that have been done?
