Article on Autism and Vaccines that came thru Medhelp

Received the newsletter from Medhelp discrediting Dr. Wakefield and his study on MMR vaccines and autism.  I know he is trying to be discredited, but things I have read recently are showing Dr. Wakefields study was not in error and Brian Deer who is discrediting his study is a journalist, not a Dr.  These leads me to not be comfortable with MedHelp info.

There is so much evidence out there to support a link between autism and vaccines.  I think the Doctor quoted here is just parroting what the medical community at large says.  Some Doctors genuinely don't believe there is a link, while others may believe it, but don't want to open that can of worms to their patients.  They are worried about being sued, or worried that they will lose lots money from people choosing to not vaccinate.  I have researched this issue for 18 years, and have come to the conclusion (sadly) that big pharma and doctors care more about making money than what is safe for babies and children.  I wish everybody would wake up and stop blindly trusting doctors and believing every word they say.  Why did they take the mercury out of the vaccines?  If they were perfectly safe the way they were, why do that?  They are admitting they weren't safe.  The big drug companies are the ones who do the research to determine "safety".  Are they kidding?  There is definitely a link between vacs and autism, not to mention diabetes, asthma, and a host of other disorders.  Has anyone researched the outcome of the Gardasil Vaccine?  20,000 girls who now have siezures, nuerological disorders, and cannot live a normal life after vaccine.  Girls who had NO prior health problems in their entire life.  This vaccine is completely unneccesary and helps nobody.  Now they are trying to give it to boys!   Dr. Mercola has an excellent website that gives lots of info on vaccines and other health issues.  There are thousands of articles by reputable doctors on this site, and if you want to learn more, that is a good place to start.  Thousands of people who go in to their doctor for vaccinations and within weeks their child is showing symptoms of something seriously wrong?  How could ALL of these people be making it up?  Sadly, people must realize that it is all for financial gain.  If they ever admitted the truth, it would mean a loss of billions of dollars for big pharma and Doctors.

I completely disagree with so many things said here.

First, Wakefield had a HUGE interest in proving the vaccine-autism link. Personal interest. He had so much to financially gain by proving the current vaccine was 'bad' - because he had his own ready to launch that he was touting as not harmful. His study was funded by solicitors (lawyers) who needed evidence that vaccines were harmful to win court cases. People always say the FDA gets so much money from big pharma, so they can't be reliable... Seems the same exact standard should apply to Wakefield (except it's been PROVEN that Wakefield would benefit from skewing research).

If you have never had cervical cancer, then you have no idea what kind of benefit the gardasil vaccine will do. I personally have had biopsies (yeah, you get no numbing or sedation as they rip tissue off your cervix, thank you very much) and had to have my cervix removed when I had a hysterectomy because of the health risks. I've had friends who have had to undergo even more extensive treatments - freezing the cervix, surgeries when it spread beyond the cervix... it is not a 'minor' disease.

Doctors don't want to harm patients, and there is not a conspiracy between pharmaceutical companies and doctors to purposely harm patients. That is major paranoia.

The parents of Wakefield's study are rightfully angry. What Deer uncovered was patient history proving that the parents had indeed disclosed to doctors months or even years before the vaccination that their child had 'something wrong' - signs and symptoms that they told Wakefield appeared following the vaccination.

I am sorry to hear of your health issues, but it is common knowledge that this vaccine does more harm than good and there is really no proof that it prevents all types of cervical cancer.  There is a website that gives real and true accounts of lives shattered by the mothers of these unfortunate girls.  They believed their doctors and trusted their doctors and now have to watch their once happy and vibrant daughters lay in bed all day unable to function.  I believe it is called the truth about gardasil.  You should watch it.  Also Mercola.com will provide you with much info about big pharma and their cover ups.  There is much to learn.

Research the swine flu vaccine and you'll find that WHO (World Health Organization) was paid millions to declare the swine flu a pandemic. The payments came from the leading vaccine manufacturers.

The swine flu hoax was a huge success not only for drug the companies but also for certain individuals including Dr. Julie Gerberding former head of the CDC who has now accepted a high paying job as president of Merck global vaccine operations.

Soon the FDA, using your tax dollars, will do all the researching and developing of new pharmaceutical drugs. The FDA will then turn the new drug over to big pharma and let them market the drug, sale it and reap all the profits. This marketing can include paying doctors to prescribe the new drug.

The swine flu hoax has fizzled out and now doctors and the public are realizing the truth about other vaccines.

Thank you for your post.  I hope run4you is reading your post also.  I know it's hard for people to believe that these companies knowingly hurt people and sell vaccines that are tainted, contain neurotoxins, etc.  but it's true.  Just remember, they are all banking on the fact that the majority of the population will have the same attitude as run4you-which is labeling people who believe the truth as "major paranoia".  Truth be told, it is the ignorant people, so willing to blindly believe their doctors, that have let this spiral out of control.  Please do your research!

I don't go on what Doctors "say" for or against but I do put credit in parents. I for one know that my son changed for the worse after his 12 month vaccinations and I know other parents and have read of thousands more who also believe the same thing. Its is easy to discredit some thing like this if you have not experienced it yourself.

My son is now diagnosed with High Functioning Austism it is heart breaking, I have 5 children my son is the 4th until him I was very pro vaccination, I still believe in vaccinations but am not so narrow minded about it.  It took me till my daughter was 20 months to get her vaccinated because I was so scared of it happening again.

Vaccines do not effect ALL people for the worse, they have stopped many people from possibly getting other horible dieases but for those who they DO effect the price is devastingly high. The link between Autism and vaccines is not a LIE

Do you believe that now babies aren't given the Hep B vaccine?  well I wished that was the case when one of my 4 and 5 lb twins were poisoned day 2  and therefore never developed properly. SHE had severe colic, my little 4 lb chicken, and severe difficulties dealing with life.  She struggles everyday now at 4 years old.  Why didn't I research or question what poisons were injected into her.  Why don't parents question many many other pharmaceutical politics.  I worked for big pharma.  We all knew the truth; the medicine adverse effects were often hidden and the data skewed.  Anyway, certain children are susceptible to severe side effects and no doctor ever ever discussed the risk vs benefits to me and that is criminal.

I just had a conversation with my Pediatrician about my concern with regards to the fact that people are NOT vaccinating their children.  I have a 13 month old who has had all his vaccines with no problem.  Now, I am no expert so I certainly cannot say whether or not the link to autism is real...I will leave that to the experts to battle out.  I can say that I have a cousin who is autistic.  His brother has aspergers.  Neither of them were ever vaccinated, so I tend to not believe it.  That is just based on personal experience though, certainly not a very scientific way of looking at things, I am aware of that.

Here is my concern....there is absolutely no question that we are beginning to see a bit of a resurgance of some of the diseases kept at bay by vaccination.  It's not huge yet, but as people continue to choose not to vaccinate, it will get bigger.  One has to only look at the death rate amongst children in developing nations who do not have access to vaccine to see what can happen. These diseases can kill.  It is a myth that they have disappeared...they have been kept at bay due to the majority vaccinating.  However, with people choosing not to and International Travel being what it is, many are being reintroduced.

Now, last time I checked, nobody ever died from Autism.  Children can and do die from things like Whooping Cough, Measels, Polio, etc.  Also, it is certainly a small amount of children that have autism compared to the amount that vaccinate.  So to me, this argument makes no sense.  I would take autism over death any day of the week thanks.  

As for pharma and Dr. conspiracy....in order for that to hold any weight, it would have to be a worldwide cover up.  Sorry, not buying it.  We know that offering these vaccines is saving lives.  Do say otherwise would be less then truthful.  

Choose what you wish for your child...I always respect another's decision in child rearing, and I know that we all do what we believe best for our children.  But don't buy into conspiracies and think through the possible results of your choice, not just the one possible scenario.

I had a premature baby, his vaccines were all delayed until his appropriate corrected age. He has cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus and autism. I don't for one minute believe that his autism was caused by any of his vaccines, he was who is is from the day he was born, but I really did not see the worst of it until much later. His autism was not diagnosed until he was four but now I look back it was aways there. I think in particular the MMR vaccine has got a bad rap because it is given at the exact age when we should begin to see our children social behavior and language developing. If a child has autism that really isn't going to happen and it happens to coincide with the time that vaccine is given often leading parents to believe the vaccine was the cause.

Now I will say that at 2 years old, on the insistence of my child development specialist from the early intervention team, I took my child to "catch up" on the Canadian vaccine schedule. (He was born in England where fewer vaccines are give;no hep, no chicken pox etc and on a different schedule). He was given TWELVE vaccines in one go, it all but wiped out his immune system. He spent the next twelve months constantly fighting some illness or another, he had 13 courses of antibiotics and was hospitalized several times during those 12 months. His development pretty much came to a halt because he spent his whole life during those twelve months either being sick or recovering. He had two more sets of vaccinations in the following two years after that and both times ended up hospitalized afterwards because he got so sick. He is now nearly seven, he was due to have another set of shots in the fall, I delayed them as he was starting a new school and I knew with his weak immune system he would have a hard time anyway with cold and sickness this fall. He did; October was a pretty bad month for sickness for him but he has been okay since other than the odd cold. I talked with his ped and we will take him for his vaccines in the spring and spread them out a bit.

My second son was not a preemie and received all his vaccines as per the recommended schedule and is as health as a horse.

Now these are just my personal thoughts on autism;

More and more babies are being born early and surviving.  In the US the average pregnancy resulting in a live birth used to be 40 weeks, now it is just 37 weeks. Even just being 3 weeks early babies are exposed to all sorts of sensory stimuli that their tiny brains just are not ready for. Also more and more our babies are c sectioned or whisked away from their mom's at birth; they are poked, prodded and put under bright lights as soon as they are born.
As I said this just my personal belief but I think all this sensory stimuli is just over loading those tiny brains and in some case parts of are children's brains are so badly affected by all this that they are just shutting down. I know dozens of families who have children with autism and other neurological disorders and almost every single one had either a premature, c section or traumatic birth experience. This could be a really big factor in why neurological disorders such as autism are on the rise, our babies brains were just not ready for what they experienced and it causes damage for ever.

The death toll from children's vaccines keeps rising by the day. Today the children are dying in Japan, where health officials have suspended children's vaccine shots pending an investigation on why four children died shortly after receiving multiple vaccine shots.

I am not certain how vaccines given worldwide could be a US politician conspiaracy?  I live in Canada and we have a strong vaccine program.  How does that fit in to a US politician conspiracy?  Not being sarcastic, I am interested on how that can be?
