I am 30 and recenly diagnosed with ASD!

First of all I will explain my history of my life. I was born prematurely. At birth I had a ruptured ambulica cord. I was speech delayed until after age 2. I was potty trained at age 2.5. I had an undescended tactical at age 2.5. I had numerous behavior problems and was diagnosed with tourette syndrome at age 5. I had anger problems. I as also sexually abused between 2 and 3. I was again abused by a teacher at age 12. At age 7 I had testicular cancer and was undescended again and was in surgery once again. after this surgery, I started wetting my bed and day time issues too with some bowl issues. at age 13 I was diagnosed with ADHD, They rulled out Autism, had OCD, PSD, and Bipolar. I was hospilized several times with depression and anger related issues. far as my bladder/bowl problem, I had seen several urlologists and nothing was wrong. It wasn't until age 21 my last urlologist, when I had all the tests done and I was diagnosed with either nerve damage or a neurological condition was to blame for this. They where surprised I had almost total control with my bowls.

Getting on topic with my Aspergers Diagnositcs, My mom still thinks its more Autism I have. I am afraid of loud unpredictable sounds such as thunder, fireworks, and horns. I have trouble with crouded arenas and events where I need someone to guide me in and out. I also have trouble with reading and spelling, but I can read to get by. I was great with Math, science, computers, and history. I have trouble with keeping friendships, but I do make friends some what easily who share common interests. I also talk a lot and have strong interest in the weather. I speak the wrong words at the wrong time in the wrong way of saying things. I have trouble with empathy and saying things the way I would write them out. I also have trouble with people joaking with me instead of me laughing I take the joke literally. I also have problems keeping eye contact, though this has been better for me. I also have an issue with when I get excited or board I do sometimes do arm flapping. I also from time to time have unwanted facial tics and motor tics. Though these are less when I am focused such as when I drive a car. Yes I do drive, and feel comfortable doing so. My Phsycologist suggested that I don't but since I went ahead without me asking, and I am able to do so without any issues he said keep on doing it. I do notice riding in the car or driving does relax me a lot. I also think I have issues with sensory issues such as I feel more comfortable wearing a diaper as it not only relaxes me, but also keeps me dry and contained. I do have issues when I do manage making the bathroom to pee, I have issues with sencondary voiding. I am wondering why does it take a widely respected neurologist who I seen on and off since age 5 not see I have autism/aspergers. My phsycologist thinks its more autism.
Did I mention I am very good with computers, I actually own a computer repair business despite not making any money on this. I am unable to hold a job as I am either made fun of or harassed at work. when I was working at Wendy's I was harassed for my needing frequent bathroom breaks and talking too much. I was a very good worker. The best job I had was working at McDonald's while in school. I was in training to be a manager and worked there for over 3 years. I was let go here not because I wanted to, but because I was hit by a car while riding my bike and suffered a major head injury. I still get mindgrands from this today. This was in 2005 when I was 21. I also had an issue with anger and outburst of talking back.

I have a few questions. My Nerologist did admit fault with misdiagnosing me. And what doctor does admit their faults. Noting bad about this doctor. He is one of the best in the US from Healthgrades.com.

Questions I have is this autism or aspergers? I can talk though I do sometimes have issues with pronouncing words correctly.

Is my bladder issue caused by my autism, when I had the surgery at age 7, or from when I had a cyst removed at my tail bone also known as pilonilo cyst. I had this procedure done twice. The 2nd time it was rapped around my tail bone. This was done at age 17.

Is there anything I can do to help myself in college, I am 30 years old, and want to go to school for either meteorology or computer networking/administration courses. I was a certified CompTIA A+ but was expired in last December. I self-trained myself this. I am also a Trained SKYWARN Spotter for the NWS that reports severe weather and other wx hazards. I am also know as a wx geek and can forecast the weather but I love to learn more. I know it is a 4 to even 10 year course pending on how far I want to take this. I am very smart but its been for ever since I done any schooling. I will need refresher course on math, and other basic courses as I been out of school since age 18. When in school I was ahead of my class in everything but English. I took German and passed NYS Regents Exams. When it comes to math, I hate using a calculator. I will need extra time on tests. Any suggestions on this.

One other note, I have this shoulder injury from working at Wendy's and I always had over sensitive to pain. I had surgery in 2012 and original injury was in 2009. It never been the same, could some of the pain be cuased by autism despite my pt and doctor doesn't think so. I do have instability of my shoulder, and substantial weakness and loss or range of motion.
