Parathyroid & Autism

I have a 6 year old son. He is having hyperactivity and does not have speech. He is diagnized as Autistic, but not from a really really specialist. He is able to communicate, understand and match the words etc. He has rashes ( I am not sure if it is fungal problem ) all across his age since past 4 years always on his face. When we show it to the doctor, he says he is developing those rashes becuase of homeopathic medicine he is taking for Autism tretment.

I am 34 year old. Except for recurrent pancreatitis, I do not have any other problems. Doctors could not find out what was the cause until recently. First they took off my gall bladder, saying that could be the cause, now recently when I got the attack again, they are saying it is defenetely becuase of Solitary Parathyroid adenoma, and it has to be treated through surgery.

My wife is 29 year old, she has no other problem except for Juvinile Myoclinic epilepsy, well under control now. However, she had minor treors during pregnancy.

My Question is, Is my son's reason for speech less ness and Hyperactive behaviour could be becuase of Parathyroid?? Do you recommend  him undergoing the test for Parathyroid?? First of all, whether Parathyroid can cause ADHD or Autism??

I don't know about this, but I think I have read other posts about certain thyroid conditions giving similar symptoms to autism.  Have you googled thyroid and autism to see what comes up?
