Could you explain? I'm confused. Btw, think you can unstick the caps lock?  I have a hard time reading all uppercase.

I am not sure what the pills do.  I've only tried diets to eliminate yeast on myself, as an adult, after having been on several rounds of antibiotics and prednizone and also at one point had to have a couple shots of cortizone (joint pain, asthma, and recurring bronchitis and other illnesses).  I found the process to take about 4 weeks or so, as an adult.  Again, I didn't use pills, I just changed my diet around.  What I've learned to do, when I go through periods of antiobiotics, is not eat too much fruit (eat more vegetables and take vitamins, whole food vitamins that I think work a little better than the regular type of vitamins), not eat too much sugary stuff, no refined sugar, etc.  I'm also diabetic, so I've been watching my sugar levels now, which I think has helped.  You could google killing yeast and see what comes up.

Oh, so bad food to eat is sugar and white flour.  Staying hydrated with water is good, and eating whole grains and vegetables.  Yogurt is really good to eat because it contains acidophilus which I don't think kills yeast but it kind of stops it from growing.   I've heard that there is some valve that you have to close up, if it's open, that can affect calcium absorption which is supposed to have some sort of affect on yeast in your body as well.  That I think is done by the diet, cutting out sugar and white flour.  Whole grains stuff is really good.

I could not imagine my daughter sticking to that sort of diet, though at her age.  5 must be a hard age as well.  Kids love carbs generally.  Try to get them to eat as all natural as you can get them.  If they like mac and cheese, you could try serving whole wheat macaroni and make your own cheese sauce.  All this organic stuff can get expensive.  I try to shop at Trader Joe's since it's a lot cheaper than Whole Foods.  Problem is they don't have as many locations across the country.  I lucked out that there is one near me.  Some grocery stores are carrying  more whole wheat, whole grains, and organic or all natural foods now.  Also even if it isn't organic, eating the fresh stuff is better than canned or frozen.  Frozen I think is better than canned, but not always (I think there is a debate about that issue).  Again, price is an issue for fresh stuff.  I personally think it is worth it, so we as a family don't go out to eat as often, so we can afford better groceries.  Some families (like my sister's) still can't afford all fresh stuff, so they do the best they can to eat healthy.

Good luck with the yeast kill off.
