Weird behaviours in 9 month old

My 9 month old gs displays some strange behaviours that worry me. He does this head drop- eye roll thing, he sometimes drops head to sides or back, his hands make this constant turning motion, he grunts and squeals a lot, doesn't mimic sounds, doesn't say mom mom or dad dad, has very stiff legs, sits with legs straight out in front of him, and he still has spit up a lot.

Hi there.  Well, these actually don't sound that abnormal.  He's working on his neck muscles.  Try a bit of tummy time where you put a tow out in front of him so he lifts his head.  Is he sitting up?  Working on crawling?  pulling up?  These are milestones that a pediatrician is looking for.  Does he go for regular doctor check ups.  My kiddos went every 2 or 3 months (can't remember now what it was) and doctor would check in with what they are doing.  Neither of my boys talked early.  They string sounds together before speaking but I know my younger son especially did not say mama for a LONG time.  My older son's first word I understood was 'basketball" (figures) and he said it at around 11 months.  He's 12 now by the way and very intelligent and articulate.  Kids develop at different rates and there is a wide range of normal.

Are you comfy asking your son or daughter about his milestones or doctors visits?
