activities/therapies for mentally retarded children??

my brother is mentally retarded,he sometimes have violent seizures esp. when he is tired or hungry, actually he easily gets tired that is why he had only short activities which sometimes bore him after not having one. Therapies, what therapies do these short-span mentally retarded children must have?pleaseee...
