blood test results

by mocaso, Jun 05, 2009 08:22AM
Hi, my autistic son just got his blood results back . The doctor is telling me not to worry about them , that they look pretty normal but something tells me that I need to look further into them.
Is there anyone who understands how to read the results and help me?
RBC Distribution Width     15.6     normal range 11.5-15.0   thus elevated
MPV                                 7.3    normal range 7.4-10.4     thus low

Polys 29

Lymphs 59   (isn't this way too high)
Monos    8
Eos     4
Basos 0
ABS polys  2.3        normal range 1.5- 8.00  thus normal
ABS lymphs 4.7      normal range 3.0-9.5 thus normal

Can anyone tell me if I should do any further testing and what these results could mean? he is 3 years old.
thanks in advance for the help you might be able to provide.
A worried mom
