i'm not certain if my son has adhd but i was hoping if someone could shed some light.

i have a 7 year old son who when we are in public acts really immature for his age if someone asks him a question he will answer in a really silly voice and if they laugh he will act up a bit more until either the person stops laughing or they ask him why he's acting that way.

i have noticed that he acts a lot differently to other kids his age and doesn't have friends in school and plays on his own which doesn't seem to bother at all.

when he is around other kids he will get in there face and make silly noises or shout things at them and if they are playing a game he will always ruin it.

he constantly repeats himself asking me the same things over and over again and ask's me questions on a daily basis that he knows the answer to.

i don't feel like he listens or takes in information unless it's repeated a few times.

he is quite clumsy and doesn't like heights at all and will not ride a bike.

if he cannot do something he will try once get frustrated and start crying and storm off having a tantrum.

if i ask him a question his first response is always i don't know even if he knows the answer which i find hard as i cannot communicate with him properly.

he is a very loving boy and will do anything you ask of him but i am noticing he is a lot different to most kids his age and a lot more the past few years as i have a 4 year old daughter and i notice a vast difference between them.

hi by the sounds of it he is just like my friends son he is 10 he has ADHD and aspergus . if he has got ADHD then he would play up where ever he is at school, home, out and about, anywhere kids that do have ADHD dont like change and need to have a routine. like for instance if they ask when is dinner going to be done and you say at 4 o.clock then they would expect to have it at that time and if they dont get it a 4 then they will get very aggitated and play up alot. ADHD children also say very hurtfull things sometimes , but they dont meen it. take him to the doctors and see what they suggest . they will prob want school reports as your child would spend half their time at school . hope this helps youout a bit ..

i am not a dr but it doesnt sound like adhd. i have adhd and i was diagnoised unfortunately at age 34 back in the days they were clueless on what adhd was. do you feed him alot of sugar or addtive colors and dye food. try gettng him evaluated for adhd. there are several searches you can do yourself to see if he has it but your best bet is to get him evaluated for it. i hope that helps. usually adhd is related to poor focus, concentration hyperactivity, restlessness and i can go on. google adhd for children. hope it helps.
