kids chelate

i've come across a website called evenbetternow.com. they are selling a product called kids chelate heavy metal chelator and there are a lot of testimonies from parents of autistic children getting better after taking this.those who can't talk just started talking; those not interacting suddenly interacts....all the testimonies are just amazing and convincing. i want to try this for my 3 yr old autistic daughter who has no words at all. has anyone used this product for their kids?is this FDA approved? anyone??

I would not reccomend this process. You can google the negative effects of chelation. It is a process that can be very hard on the body. Before doing anything, you should consult a pediatrician. You can have your daughters blood tested to see if she has high levels of any metal in her body. If you choose to go through with the process, your daughter should be closely monitored by the ped as chelation can effect kidney function. There is at least one lawsuit under way due to a child dieing from the process.
