Im no doctor to tell you what to worry about and not. having said that your ANA range is borderline low at best so not a big deal.

Thanks for the reply.....The range was less than 1:40 negative... 1:40 to 1:80 low antibody level....above 1:80 elevated antibody. So I am pretty borderline. I also feel healthy....just skipped heartbeats.  Some normal minor aches and pains....part of aging.
Do those ranges help you?
Thanks

Have had ana screen several times during the monitoring and treatment of Fibromyalgia but also seemed to include autoimmune reactions.

When I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia my count was moderate and also described as speckled. Our counts are a diferent system to yours where the say normal ana <200 and my ANA was 400.

Anti-nuclear Antibodies are the bodies waste product of white cells battling illness is what has been explained to me but best you check the net for yourself.

Recently an Outbreak of polyarthralgis symptoms and swollen glands gave an ANA of 600. At 1000 the consider the blood saturated and you go to hospital til the can fix it here is Australia.

Now there is a whole raft of autoimmune diseases out there, dont just shorten it to aids, because as anyone with knowledge of aids knows its not aids that kills you its the diseases you get as a result of low anti bodies.

Your DR i believe is checking possibility of muscular syndromes. He may now do more specific blood tests.

I cant work out how to convert your figure into our terms so have a look at the blood test again and see if they mark a regular range as well like 1:60 or 1:80.

Good luck and take it easy, rest and meditation to help you have a positive frame of mind.
