Anti Smooth Muscle Antibody

I've recently had an auto immune screen done and the anti smooth muscle antibody has come back positive at 1:320, should I be worried? I am a healthy 38yr old male who did have viral Hepatitis at the age of 13.

        Hi I too have elevated anti smooth muscle anti body and also elevated ana in my case - doc didnt say much about it all - but researched it myself - found the anti smooth muscle can be indicative of autoimmune hepatitis but my tests for liver function were fine - maybe you should check yours? Not certain if the viral hepatitis youve had could present with this if the illness is completely gone but if it is chronic I think it could. - also poss think the viral illness has triggered an autoimmune disorder??
        Seems there are other illnesses which can be connected -;
Cirrhosis
Infectious mononucleosis (glandular fever)
The test also helps distinguish autoimmune hepatitis from systemic lupus erythematosus.
