Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Low IgA

I'm 23 years old and a female. I have had Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy since I was 8 years old. I just recently found out that in the last two years my IgA has been decreasing. I would like to know what to do about this. Last year I got mano twice within 6 months of the two times. Currently i have been sick since the end of september 2007 and now it is the end of November 2007. I'm sick with consistant ear infections, upper respitorary infections, bronchitus (bronchitis) either actual bronchitus (bronchitis) and viral bronchitus (bronchitis). I have also terrible sore throats. I have a persistant cough that is croopy. I am also naseau 24hrs 7 days a week since september. I'm also tired and very achey (achy)( this could be cause I work with special education children in early childhood who are autstic). Please can someone direct me to a good immunologist in New York and knows alot about Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.

Ask your doctor about the autoimmune disease called chronic epstein-barr virus.  Most people have the antibodies to EBV and don't usually have any symptoms after it has been active.  But some people can development chronic EBV which can reactivate in your body and make you feel like you are coming down with the flu but instead of getting better like you do with the flu you remain sick until the virus goes back into remission.  This is an autoimmune disease.  I think you should see a internal medicine doctor and get tested for this.  I do no anything about Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy so I can't help there.  But I was diagnosed with chronic EBV in 1992 and I experience alot of the symptoms you have when I have a flare up of the disease.  I have also been diagnosed with Lupus and chronic fatigue syndrome.   I am wondering if you are on any medications that may be causing the nausea.  If yes,  then perhaps you should look at changing it or ask your doctor for a medication they give to help combat nausea (I think it is called compazine).  Good luck and keep hopeful about finding a cure for what it is you have.
