Crohns and Lungs

Is there any connection to Crohns and lung disease.  I do not have ANY risk factors for lung disease.  However,I have apical pleural thickening and my lung biopsy shows chronic inflammation with fibrous tissue and the multiple doctors and tests I have had done do not result in a diagnosis.  Any insight would be appreciated.  Thanks

My doctor thought years ago I might have borderline lupus. Since, no one agrees, however recently I was diagnosed as having left apical pleural thickening. Could this be a sign of the lupus that has attacked my lungs?

Do you have asthma?  I think there can a link between ulcerative colitis/crohn's with other 'allergic' diseases like asthma.
