Crohns

I was diagnosed with Crohns @ 3 weeks ago. Started on Pentasa am also taking daily vitamin, fish oil, probiatic. Last week I ached all over, got progressively worse, until I was barely able to walk. Wen to ER, given 1 shot toradol and started on 20mg predisone for 5 days. Toradol and prednisone worked, but I still have muscle aches, especially neck, tightness in chest when I take a deep breath. ALSO...........weight loss........
I will be seeing my GI doctor next week also have to make appt with rheumotologist and will be seeing hematologist as labs show platelets @700,000, wbc 11.7, elevated seds.
Guess I am asking for any advise or questions I might be asking any of these doctors......

You might want to read the book "The Maker's Diet" by Jordin Rubin.  It is about a person who cured himself of Crohns disease.  Get the book "Prescription for Nutrional Healing".  It will give you a list of things you can take and do to treat this condition.
