Exercise or physical ecertion causes fever, muscle ache and fatigue.

I usually get sick (Fever, fatigue and muscle ache) once I exercise. Even though I keep it to minimum at beginning like walking, light weights, I still get feverish or fever. Then I have to wait till I get well to start working out again. Doctors have tried so many tests and can't figure out much. If I don't exercise I generally feel good. This has been happening for past 7-8 years, before that I exercised regularly for 4-5 years. I was diagnosed for Lyme disease which was treated and blood work for fine later on. Then doctor thought it could be Lupus or auto immune disorder and started my medicine for the same. It turned out it was not that from my blood work done again. I am lost now as I can't exercise or run.

I can relate to your symptoms.  I had the same, but add falling asleep.  Actually, almost passing out.  Virtually not being able to drive myself home from CURVES after a severley modified 30 minute work-out.  I found that what I had to do was go WAY back, down to a 2-3 minute "work out", like walk up and down the driveway, for a week.  Then double that for another week, etc.  I'm still only at the walking phase, not ready for the gym yet, but at least I'm moving and not getting sick from it.  I have Fibro, Lupus and other sorted autoimmune disorders, but I don't think it's my diagnosis that's the root of my exercise problem.  I think it's how incredible out of shape I am, the fact that I'm on several meds and that my body just isn't ready for more than lounging around.  Don't push yourself, and good luck in your search for comfort!

Hi ! I would recommend asking your question in MedHelp's lyme forum. I don't know how long you were treated on antibiotics, but I can tell you that some people have chronic lyme disease and can still have some lyme symptoms even after being treated.
