Help with Vitiligo PLEASE

I have had vitiligo for a few years; however, in the past few years, it has not been widespread or that visible. Within the past few months, the spots have started spreading all along my face. This is making me feel very depressed, and I constantly use makeup to cover it up (I am a guy :(.).. At a very young age, it is very disheartening to have to do this.

I am transferring to a university that is 4 hours from home this upcoming fall, and I feel as though this skin condition will be impossible to deal with at college.

Is there anything I can do to cure the vitiligo or atleast stop it from spreading?

I have heard that sunlight causes vitiligo to spread faster. Is this true, and does it mean that going to college isn't a good idea?

Any tips will help. Just need some advice and guidance as I go to college with this depressing skin problem.

Thank you.

Hi Jerry.
I can relate to what you are going through.
While I did not suffer from Vitiligo, I was diagnosed with Alopecea Nervosa,
at the age of 20, following a horrific traffic accident.
I had hair loss in patches on my face and my scalp (which appeared white) and every time I looked in the mirror it had gotten worse, which made me sick to my stomach!
Long story short, I used an old remedy - blue lime stone powder mixed with saliva, made into a paste and then applied over all the affected areas, 2-3 times daily. A couple months later, all went back to normal!
Note this does not necessarily work for Vitiligo.
Look into the possibility of low thyroid function.

You need to rule out Hashimoto's and/or hypothyroidism including type 2-
thyroid resistance. (free T3, free T4 and reverse T3 are necessary for the latter, which most doctors... do not order!)

I am big on natural remedies.
Look into Bakuchi (Babchi) Seed Oil for your Vitiligo.
This is an Ayurvedic  medicine remedy with no known side-effects, but it must be diluted with virgin organic coconut oil  - Ratio 3 coconut oil to one
Bakuchi Oil. Very important!!
Expose your skin to direct sunlight starting at 2 minutes and increasing daily to a max. of 5 minutes immediately after application. Apply daily and for a minimum of 4-5 months before you see notable results.
Do not exceed 5 minutes of sun exposure!
Avoid stress, as much as possible. Try meditation (YouTube has numerous
choices of guided meditation). I have been meditating for years.
Also try a wheat/gluten-free diet for a few weeks to see if it helps.
Stay away from anything that may contribute to toxicity, like pesticides,
artificial ingredients, exposure to chemicals etc.
Consume organic, fresh, pastured, grass-fed, hormone/chemical- free foods, drinks and meats, as much as possible. You get the idea.
Treat your body like  a sacred temple!
Gluten has been implicated in Auto-Immune disease as a co-factor.

Also look into candida, since any health improvement, seems to be sluggish, when such an yeast overgrowth infection is present.
You may try the "saliva test for candida" on your own as a preliminary screen.
(Indicative-not diagnostic)

Best wishes,
Niko
