Thank you very much for your help. I called and put in a message for my doctor to do a pulmonary and cardiac workup to check for anything that i might not know that i have. I also have to go back to my allergist tomorrow to get two shots. One they said is for my hib they said was low and the other i am not sure what that was for. They also did blood work for diptheria/tetanus and something else. I am not sure without looking at it what it is.
You're telling me that you were never checked for heart related issues.
Really?
Of course it would be advisable to rule out any heart involvement!
The TMS suggestion has to do with more than just back pain.
It often has to do with inexplicable pain on muscle, nerves and ligaments
just about anywhere in the body
It also may help explain referred pain, where the pain is experienced at a different location other than the site of the painful stimulus.
I'm sorry, I cannot evaluate this further for you. You would need to see a doctor, knowledgeable in this field to rule it out.
Wishing you well,
Niko
I looked into that and I don't think that it what islt is. Do you think in anyway shape or form that this could be heart related. Do I need to talk to my doctor about it to see what he says and ask for a chest xray and other tests to rule out that it is the heart that way my mind is at ease.
leagle97, perhaps you may want to look into Tension Myositis Syndrome.
Just do a search and open the YouTube video on an ABC news piece that was done on TMS a number of years ago. The doctor who coined the term
TMS is Doctor John Sarno.
Some of the details in your post match this syndrome.
Cheers,
Niko
The pain started about March of last year when I was on crutches for 2.5 months due to a herniated disk in the lower back. Ever since then I have had problems and always found myself going to er because the pain was so bad.
Ok so I don't have lupus lIke we thought, but my concern is when is the chest pain caused by auto immune or heart related. I get this pain on and off all the time sometimes worse than others. This time it is more on the left side but does move around. The doctor does not want to do test for the heart. I am going to see a rheumatoid doctor in a few weeks but do I need to make an appointment with a cardiology doctor as well.
Well, I don't have all the details, but the best protection for now is to strengthen your immune system, as much as possible.
There's not much you can do about the Costochondritis.
Sometimes the pain may take up to a year to resolve.
I had used 30% DMSO topical solution for my acute pleurisy (similar pain to Costo) which made it manageable.
Your last test is negative as well.
And you're welcome.
Niko
The did not give me any other vitamins. What are the going to do because of the test that said that i dont have enough protection. I constantly get chest pain and the consto has been going on since last march and was told that it will go away but it does not and comes back quiet often.

this blood test came back this morning and was wondering what this meant as well.
THanks
The first part was already included in your original post.
They other 2 don't really reveal anything as they're within range.
Costochondritis often resolves on its own. It's cause in most cases cannot be attributed to anything.
Usually physical therapy and rest help.
Your Vitamin D pills, try to take them sublingually, for better absorption.
I would take vitamin K2 along with the D to ensure that calcium (metabolized by vitamin D ) goes to joints, bones and teeth, instead of
soft tissues.

INTERPRETIVE INFORMATION: SSB (La) (ENA) Ab, IgG 29 AU/mL or Less ............. Negative 30 - 40 AU/mL ................ Equivocal 41 AU/mL or Greater .......... Positive SSB (La) antibody is seen in 50-60% of Sjogren syndrome cases and is specific if it is the only ENA antibody present. 15-25% of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and 5-10% of patients with progressive systemic sclerosis (PSS) also have this antibody.

The total IgG (mg/dL) can be derived by the sum of the subclasses IgG1, IgG2, IgG3 and IgG4 values. However, a confirmatory and more precise total IgG is available by the nephelometric method of total IgG (Test # 00-50350)
Thank you very much. I have some more blood test that were done and they want me to go to a rheumatoid doctor but I don't know what other test they can do. I was but on vit d pills once a week 50,000 intl UNITs. What are they going to do because I don't have enough protection or what is causing this. The reason they did this was because I was told I have chostiocondrits. Then they thought that I had lupus. I will update with the other blood test that were done if you don't mind helping
Hey leagle 97.
There's a lot of generic lab information on your report, which may cause
some confusion.
Your vitamin D level is very low. I would personally call this a serious deficiency. The lab's normal range is well below the levels recommended by the vitamin D council at 49-50 ng/ml .
Is this deficiency being addressed?
If, not, this is enough to affect your health negatively with some serious consequences, if not treated asap!
H Influenza Ab, IgG 0.7 . It indicates you don't have enough protection
as antibodies to H. Influenza were detected, but concentration was low.
The rest of the information on this is irrelevant, in the absence of pre-vaccination concentration data.
SS-B/La antibodies are found primarily in patients with Sjogren’s syndrome or Lupus. Your test result is negative.
I hope this helps,
Niko
