Hi my hairs fulling out

Hi im 27 and have been told by my doctor i have alopica artea.
This stated in Novemeber and i have 3 big patches and a few little one,my hairs still coming out but i have white hair coming back allready is that a good thing will it change colour?
Ive been taking Nourkrin tablets for 5 weeks now,im also just starting useing Derovate.
My doctor has advised me to buy Rogaine Lotion and aplie twice a day. But im worrried as i have read that the rogaine can make your hair full out-any advise on this would be good.
I have been told that a gulten free diet may help do you think it will.
One thing id like to know,people have said thaat the harir works in a 6 month cycle is that ture and if it is should my hair stop fulling out by the end of month six?
Biotin tablets say that they help your hair grow should i take them?
Is there anything reacomed to wash my hair in as this is when i notice handfulls of hair loss?
Id be greatfull for any advise on the above queation or and any thing elsse i can do.

I wish they coould find something in my blood to get a answer with a treatment,im going to look up the vitimin and try and order them,wheres the best place to order them from im in the |UK

The reason my hair was falling out was due to lupus.  When I was put on plaquinel my hair quit falling out.  But my dr. said her hair fell out due to stress and the vitamin formula helped her.  I also know that thyroid problems as well as hormone problems can cause alopecia.  But you would be having other symptoms.

My daughter's apartment was broken into and I know how stressful that is.  She had a hard time going back to her apartment.  She stayed w/ a friend for weeks.

My hair is fine but I had plenty until a couple of years ago.  I was getting a workup done for knee surgery and they found out I was anemic, didn't have enough blood.  I had to get iron infusions which helped to build my blood back up.  After having the surgery and the iron infusions my hair started growing thicker and longer.  You may ask to be checked for anemia.

Hi thanks for that,have you got alopica then do they work for you??
I moved home last year but it was a possitve thing but i did get broke in to my relationship fell apart the year before last maybe i was stressed a bit then and its coming out now.
I would be happy ifno more fell out i could deal with it i dont want loss all my hair :(

My rhematologist advised me to take a product by Rexall called "Hair Skin and Nails".  MSM also helps to grow hair and finger nails.
