Hot face and neck with no fever

I am a 27 year old female
I keep getting very hot, mostly in the trunk of my body and hottest on my face and neck. I have taken my temp many times during one of my heat spells, but they are never above 98.7. I do usually have a lower temp of around 97.5. I do not get really red just a little. I will also get chills after the heat subsides. This happens all throughout the day for about a month. My husband says I get hot on and off in my sleep. My feet are always very cold as well as my hands. I do not sweat when I get really hot. I actually do not sweat much at all, even when I am working.

I can feel when I am starting to get hot. I kinda crawls up my spine to the back of my neck and sticks around for about 20 minutes or so and makes me want to jump into a snow bank. It goes away, but it comes back repeatedly, but seems to get more regular in the evening. Other things are lack of sex drive, hair loss and vision issues. It seems like there is something in my eyes, but there isn't. I blink and rub my eyes a lot.  I also have been having muscle spams in my legs.

I told my GP and she tested my Thyroid
T3-3.41
T4-1.3
TSH-2.32
Glucose- 71
Hgb-13.3
HCT-40.5
Bp- Normal

GP told me she does not know what it could be, but most likely stress. I seen my OBGYN thinking maybe she might have some ideas, but she said she does not know what it could be. I am starting to get frightened by all of this.

I get this same thing and more.  I feel warm all over my back and arms and it’s a rising  burning  sensation as it engulfs the skin.  Had it some time.  I think it’s tied to my gut.

This is a comment strictly from personal experience... I would definitely discuss this again with your obgyn and request a hormone level check.  I am a 38 year old 'meopausal' woman after having a complete hysterectomy at 35.  I had every symptom you described and still do from time to time when things get out of whack. The symptoms you describe could all be attributed to excessses or deficiencies with your hormones.  I'm not sure why a young woman would be having hormone problems, but its worth checking out.  My obgyn is a specialist in hormone replacement therapy and I am tested a couple of times a year through a saliva test.  He says this is the most accurate way to test levels. (more than a blood test.)  I work in the counseling field and have seen hormonal imbalances cause the craziest things from depression to seizures.  They're powerful things.

You could also request a complete blood count CBC to see overall health and a blood test for autoimmune disease to rule out something there.

Try not to get frightened, just do your research and take control of your medical care.  Even doctors miss things once in awhile so if there is something you'd like to be tested for, tell them so. You could go to your GP for the basic tests, maybe even the saliva test unless your doc would rather you see the obgyn for that.  Just let her know you are concerned and what ideas you have and ask her to help you figure out what the problem is.

Good luck!!
